In response to Pakistan's request, UNICEF said it would send anti-fever and anti-malaria daway to Sindh and Baluchistan, which have been hit by floods.
The administration has reportedly informed UNICEF about the worsening malaria situation in flood-affected areas. With this promise in mind, UNICEF has pledged to ship large amounts of anti-fever and anti-malaria medication to Pakistan.
Officials in Pakistan have announced that UNICEF will be sending 1 million tablets to cure malaria to the country, allowing for the treatment of 400,000 children.
The World Health Organization for Children (UNICEF) is sending 2.5 million paracetamol tablets to Pakistan, and the shipment is expected to arrive there on October 7.
Provincial representatives were consulted during the planning stages of the malaria and fever medication distribution strategy. Malaria and fever daway would be sent to Sindh, Baluchistan, and KP when they were needed, based on the demand notes that the provinces sent to the federation at its request.
